siphons
Siphons serve as cooling elements that protect pressure measuring instruments from overheating by the process medium. In addition, siphons help to minimise the effects of pulsation, which ensures precise and reliable reading of the pressure gauge. This function also increases the service life of the measuring instruments and ensures reliable measurement accuracy over a long period of time.
The siphons are available in circular and U-shape, each in different designs (e.g. B-shape, C-shape, D-shape), based on DIN 16282. The standard pipe dimension is 20x2.5, other dimensions and special designs are also available.
