Stop valves are used to precisely control or shut off the flow of the medium to the measuring instrument. Depending on the design, the shut-off valves are suitable for use with liquids, gases or vapours in various temperature ranges.
The pressure gauge valve is available with connections similar to DIN 16270 as well as DIN 16271 with male test connection. Form A of the stop valve is characterised by the connection via an adjusting nut, whereas form B is equipped with a rotatable female thread and a stem for mounting on the gauge holder bracket.
