connection adapter female thread / cutting ring fitting
The connection adapter consists of a female thread connection and a cutting ring fitting. The cutting ring fitting is used to connect tubes seamlessly without the need for soldering or welding. Tightening the union nut presses the conical cutting ring into the connection, causing the wedge-shaped inner side of the ring to grip the tube wall and form a secure, tight fit. The cutting ring fitting is standardised in accordance with DIN EN ISO 8434-1/-4.
